The six string quartets (KV.168-173), called as the Viennese Quartets, were composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1773 in Vienna. It was the third journey into Vienna for Mozart. These quartets were influenced by works by Joseph Haydn (1732-1809).
