Gottfried Reiche (1667-1734) was a master on the trumpet in Germany. He had been Johann Sebastian Bach’s chief trumpeter at Leipzig. His compositions were few, however, his Abblasen (fanfare) is very popular which had been the theme music to CBS Sunday Morning in U.S.A.
