Chopin: Valse in a, Op.poth (KK IVb-11/BI-150)
This piece for piano solo is dedicated to Countess Rothschild, one of Chopin’s supporters and a family friend who was also his student during his later years. It is technically straightforward, yet it exudes a delightful and melancholic beauty. We arranged it for “solo instruments & piano” and for string or wood quartet.
