“Nachtgruß” is a choral composition composed by Franz Wüllner. After listening to a wonderful performance by the Dresdner Kammerchor, I arranged it so that it can be played by string quartet and clarinet quartet. This piece expresses the tranquility of a night when everyone is asleep, and it speaks of subduing things like vanity that disturb the mind.
Parts note of clarinet I, II, and III include both in A and in Bb for players convenience.
