Opus 7 is a set of 12 concertos. No. 7 is for single solo oboe with string orchestra. It was dedicate to a Venetian patrician, Giovanni Donato Correggio, who was an amateur musician. It consists of the following three movements,

The movement II is remarkably beautiful.
